Music For Anyone
We don’t do clinical - we do connection
We’re excited to offer the youth or adult you support the opportunity to join the Blue Light Music Program, where musical creativity and expression come to life. Our program is inclusive and designed to meet the needs of all students, including neurodiverse learners, ensuring a supportive and adaptive experience for everyone.
Whether you’re looking to enroll through DDD or Performcare, we’re here to support you in making the referral process seamless.
For Youth Program Agency Referrals
Youth (Ages 6-17) & Transition Aged (Ages 18-20)
-

Step One: Complete Registration Form
All youth referrals interested in Blue Light begin by attending a free demo session. This initial experience helps the Child-Family Team ensure the program is the right fit for the student.
Care managers fill out the registration form directly through our website on behalf of the family. Take note that the 'Account Manager' should be the guardian of the youth and the 'Dependent' should be the youth. The form includes fields for contact information for the care manager separately at the bottom, allowing us to identify CMO involvement and coordinate appropriately.
If the youth is a pre-existing referral and you are having trouble submitting the form - please contact our Youth Program Manager:

Step Two: Post-Demo Enrollment Discussion
After the demo, our team will follow up with the family to see if they’d like to move forward.
Families may choose to enroll privately through our self-pay option. If the Child-Family Team determines financial support is needed, the referring agency may choose to provide a tuition scholarship. If a scholarship will be requested, the Child-Family Team should determine:
• The number of months the student will participate
• The total contribution amount the agency will provide
Scholarships are awarded at the sole discretion of the referring agency and may cover one or more months of participation.

Step Three: Scholarship Processing
If a scholarship is approved by the agency, we will generate an invoice based on the number of months the agency is supporting (e.g., $250 for one month, $750 for three months) and send it to the agency’s billing contact.
Once the invoice is paid, the student’s account will be credited and ready for enrollment!
-

Step Four: Schedule Enrollment with Family
Whether the student is enrolling with a scholarship or through self-pay, our team will walk the family through the rest of the process and confirm everything is set.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
At Blue Light, we believe music is for anyone. Our program is designed to be flexible and adaptable, offering a variety of musical experiences to suit each individual's interests and goals. We have something for students of all abilities!
-
While we greatly value the field of music therapy, Blue Light is not a therapy program. Our focus is on providing an enjoyable and enriching musical experience, fostering creativity, and building confidence. We encourage students to explore their musical passions and express themselves freely, without the pressure of specific outcomes.
-
The Blue Light Music Program operates on a flexible, ongoing enrollment model rather than a set session length. Students can participate as long as they remain enrolled, with agency-referred students typically starting with a minimum of one month’s tuition ($250) covered by their referring agency. We recommend agencies contribute two months or more to provide students with a more consistent and immersive experience.
For families enrolling privately, the program runs on a month-to-month basis, allowing students to continue as long as they choose. There are no long-term contracts, ensuring accessibility and flexibility for all participants.
-
We are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment for all students. Our instructors are experienced in working with neurodiverse individuals and are dedicated to adapting their teaching styles to meet each student's unique needs. We offer a variety of accommodations, flexible scheduling options, and individualized support to ensure every student feels comfortable and empowered to participate fully in the program.
-
No, we don’t currently offer one-to-one lessons. However, our small instructor-to-student ratios ensure that each student receives individualized attention within our group classes. We believe group sessions offer unique benefits—students can learn from each other, collaborate, and gain confidence working with their peers in a supportive environment. This setting encourages creativity, teamwork, and mutual growth, making it a valuable experience for every participant.
-
Yes, if you cancel with at least 24 hours' notice, you’ll receive a make-up credit that can be used to book a session within the same "stage" (age group), provided there is availability. Make-up credits are valid for 30 days from the missed class date, allowing some flexibility to find a suitable session.
We understand that life can be unpredictable, and we do our best to accommodate missed classes whenever possible. While we strive to offer make-up options, the high volume of students means that availability may be limited. Please inform us in advance if your student will be absent, and we’ll do our best to find a make-up session that works within the 30-day window.
-
The program requires a minimum enrollment of one month ($250 for Ages 6-17 and $400 for Ages 18-20). However, to ensure youth gain the most benefit, we encourage longer engagements whenever possible.
-
We recommend child-family teams discuss how long the youth would benefit from participation based on their interests and goals. Here’s a general guideline:
1 Month (Minimum): A good starting point for youth exploring music in a structured group setting.
2 Months: Allows for stronger engagement, skill-building, and confidence in the program.
3+ Months: Best for youth who thrive in structured creative environments, need a consistent outlet, or would benefit from longer-term social-emotional development.
-
Yes! The Agency Partner can contribute tuition for multiple months upfront to provide continuity for the youth. This is processed as a single invoice to the Agency Partner, ensuring seamless enrollment without gaps in participation.
-
If a longer-term commitment isn't certain, funding can be approved one month at a time with the option to make additional contributions. Families can also choose to continue participation privately when the Agency Partner ends its funding.
-
Families have the option to continue participation privately after transitioning from Agency Partner funding. If additional Agency Partner funding becomes available later, private tuition can be paused while Agency Partner funds are applied.
-
Care Manager submits a funding request specifying the approved tuition contribution amount (one or more months in increments of $250).
Blue Light invoices the Agency Partner for the full approved amount.
Agency Partner pays the invoice, and the funds are applied to the student’s account.
Student/Family completes the enrollment process and can begin sessions.
Additional tuition contributions can be made at any time.
-
Greater Impact: Youth engage more deeply and develop stronger skills over time.
Scheduling Stability: A longer commitment ensures consistent attendance and progress.
Flexibility for Families: If a family decides to continue beyond a contribution from the CMO, they may easily transition to private funding.
